After completing his studies at the renowned Riccardo Bauer Photography Institute, he learned the ropes as an assistant in Milan, between photo studios and hours spent scanning film at the computer. A stroke or two of luck and a touch of perseverance led him to work with several professional photographers as their right-hand man. This, in turn, allowed him to absorb their methods and develop his own aesthetic. Accused of being “excessively meticulous” by his friends and family, he was able to turn his flaw into a skill, finally opening his own studio in the fashion capital, where he specialises in still life photography. He soon began publishing photos for the web, and currently collaborates with advertising companies, fashion and cosmetic brands and magazines. He joined the Mondadori Portfolio team in 2017.
